Improvements! Grrr

What have Blogger done?  Anyone else think all these so called improvements are totally confusing?  It not me resisting change, it's just not easy to find things.  Why does everything have to be messed about with, improvements should make things easier not harder.  OK that's me showing I'm tuning into an old lady lol.  You wouldn't believe how long it's taken me to add all the pictures, Blogger wouldn't let me load more than two pictures at a time, as soon as I pressed send they just disappeared if I tried more.  Do you call that an improvement because I sure as hell don't.

Friday is challenge day at Polk Doodles and Enfys set the challenge of a red and white theme in honour of St Georges day.  I used an image and papers from the Sugarplum Daisy CD and the bird image and sentiment are PD  rubber stamps.  The bird is one of my faves as it so simple but you can do so much with it.  Nicky is going to be on your screens next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, then on the 7th May she is launching the 4 day deal.
Kuretake have a new challenge starting soon Spring Blooms, I'm not quite sure when though so keep an eye out on there blog.  I made two cards using Art and Graphic Twin Tip pens.

I have a few Creative Expression Samples for you now.
And here are the Clarity samples from the last show, plus a few extra.

Thank You

Well here we are again, a little later than I anticipated but hey, it's better late than never in my book. I'll be Demonstrating for Creative Expressions at Squires Garden Centre Shepperton this Saturday.  If you live in that area and fancy a trip out come and say hi.

Thank you to everyone for your support for my debut on C&C.  There was a dodgy moment or two at the beginning where I had total brain failure, but I got past it and got going.  A big thanks to Dave and Barbara, thank the lord they were there, Dave being his very professional self and doing a lot of the work for me and Barbara for being behind the cameras gesticulating at me and giving moral support.

Today is Friday so it Polka Doodles challenge time. This week the challenge is to make a card for a big number. I used the tree and birdhouse image, backing papers, ticket, numbers and a flower from the Candy Doodles Collectors edition CD, and the girl and the toadstool are from Sugarplum Daisy CD. The fence, birdhouse, little bird, and swirl are Marianne Design Dies cut from a very pretty Marianne Designs backing paper. Some inking with distress inks and faux stitching finishes off the card just nicely.
Below are my creative expressions domo samples, I'm a bit behind with them so there's rather a lot of them I'm afraid.  They use a combination of studio 490 Art Part and stamps, Spellbinder dies, embossing folders, metal, Cosmic Shimmer misters, drawing inks and pearl PVA.  There's even a bit of spackle used to.  Of course distress stains, inkpads and Adirondack inkpads used too,
